Blog Focus Change

From the founding of my blog on 2/5/2006 until 11/1/2024 the information below was contained within a sidebar html gadget that showed as a scroll box. It was titled "About Me Scroll Box". I have deleted it and relocated the information here. Due to the fact that I ended posting about politics on this blog on 2/1/2020. After this date zero posts were published until 5/17/2024. This means that nothing was going on here for 1,565 days. Then I began writing and publishing the fiction serial Dervish Sanders Adventures.

The last comment made was by Shaw Kenawe on 7/08/2019 at 12:01pm. I'm not including comments from me. There have been a couple. Will anyone every comment on his blog again? Who knows. I know the bl0g harassing a-h0le Mystere has been here, looking over what I've written.

He let me know he was probing my blog by writing comments using the alias Roger The Talking Canine. On both the blogs of Minus FJM and Lisa. It's possible he did this to send me a message.

I've had several blogs taken out by this jerk after he fake-reported me to bl0gger for "hate". Including the one I just linked to. Actually it's predecessor. I created a replacement. He'll probably go after that one too.

Anyway, in regards to the Scroll Box I previously mentioned, it included a series of blubs describing what my goal was. In regards to my bl0gging about politics, that is. It's also referred to as a "tag line". That would be a short description to notify the reader what to expect. I changed my Tag Line that with each new administration. Though I left the prior one in the Scroll Box for people to view.

What follows is the information that was contained in the removed Scroll Box. Including the old Blurbs.

Location: United States. I used to include the city here. Until Mystere started harassing me. Removing it doesn't mean he has forgotten, though. Unfortunately.

Obama Administration Blurb: I am a Liberal Democrat and Christian who is fed up with the constant drumbeat of lies coming from the Obstructionist Republican Congressional Minority, The Right-Wing Propaganda Machine, The Tea Party and the Astorturf organizations who give them their marching orders (FreedomWorks and Glenn Beck), The so-called "Christian" Right (including the "C" Street cultists), and members of the former bush Crime Family.

Doofus Administration Blurb: The name of the blog, "Sleeping with the Devil", is a reference to the criminal members of the former administration who violated our laws, our Constitution and various international treaties forbidding preemptive war and torture.

Blog Objective: Fight the good fight against the unholy alliance between Neoconservatives, The Religious Right and Corporations which threatens to destroy our American way of life. Oppose Conservative economic policies (Reganomics AKA neoliberalism) designed to transform our Democracy into a Plutocracy. Oppose trumpist fascism.

In regards to the image at the top of this post, some copies of this book were printed that included the wrong picture on the cover. This was a book authored by Dervish Sanders, but that's not him. I should know, given that I'm that person. Though, the "right" picture was also not me but an AI image created to represent me. But the image on this book wasn't the one I selected. They were supposed to be pulped, but I ran across one in a 99 cent store recently. I thought it was funny so I bought one.
