You&...Outing a CIA operative, one of our own.

You're stretching Will. AS WD intimated, do past president s and administrations get a pass from breaking the law?

From a partisan standpoint, these crimes are real and heinous. If the rethugs could spend 100 million on Whitewater and Monica, surely the Democrats could appoint a special prosecutor to look into these blatent acts of treason for political purposes.Joe "Truth 101" Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08875151516978133598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21976234.post-77647621709976536102010-11-25T17:32:14.466-06:002010-11-25T17:32:14.466-06:00I'm against Bush, and I'm against water-bo...I'm against Bush, and I'm against water-boarding. Hell, I wouldn't even mind a fact finding investigation that ended up in Mr. Cheney (especially) being cuffed for a while. But, please, maybe also a little perspective here. During WW2 Churchill and Roosevelt ROUTINELY targeted major population centers in Germany, Italy, and Japan. According to MIT's John Dower, possibly up to 1.2 million civilians were slaughtered during these attacks (and, no, this doesn't even include the Hiroshima and Nagasaki). So, no/I don't know, to me, that sounds a hell of a lot more like a war crime than the Bushies water-boarding a bevy of lunk-heads (and, again, I'm not at all excusing it). Will "take no prisoners" Harthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02315659209094683602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21976234.post-29841371306571183772010-11-25T11:37:41.639-06:002010-11-25T11:37:41.639-06:00Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours w!!Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours w!!Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18303260031729868857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21976234.post-33953109835366387682010-11-22T07:46:50.407-06:002010-11-22T07:46:50.407-06:00I believe the Justice Department has been ordered ...I believe the Justice Department has been ordered to ignore the obvious treason of the Bush Administration, from the Plame outing to the authorization of torture, illegal wiretapping of US citizens, and half a dozen other transgressions. The DOJ is SUPPOSED to be exempt from political pressure, or at least was until Curious George had several US Attorneys fired for not being partisan enough to suit Cheney.
The prosecution of Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld should be an undertaking for a special prosecutor named by Congress. His actual day in shackles should be before a War Crimes Tribunal at the Hague. Anything less than that makes us all complicite in the crimes he committed.squatlohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00041016017342355678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21976234.post-18181468240831316552010-11-18T19:18:41.255-06:002010-11-18T19:18:41.255-06:00I'd love to say the SHOOT word, the HANG '...I'd love to say the SHOOT word, the HANG 'EM ALL words, more often in my posts but I fear the FBI would start watching me, so I refrain!
