More Donald-Trump-Incited Violence Results In 11 Dead At Pittsburgh Synagogue

So, the right-wing media has been pushing this conspiracy theory that the caravan on it's from Honduras (which is currently in Mexico) is being funded by George Soros. Also, that there are MS13 gang members and Middle Eastern terrorists in the midst of the group of largely military fighting age men. Clearly it is a planned invasion to bring death to America via our completely unprotected (aka wall-less) southern border.

What follows is a tRump-inspired fear mongering attack ad put out by the awful Marsha Blackburn. Don't vote for her opponent running to be senator from Tennessee (Phil Bredesen) she says. Because he is "dangerously wrong".

What is dangerously wrong is that republicans think there will be no consequences to their pushing absurd conspiracy theories in order to gin up their poorly educated and bigoted base. Yesterday the news was that the correctly labeled #magabomber was caught. He only TRIED to kill 13 "enemies of the people". Luckily his incompetence resulted in none of his bombs going off.

Whereas the Synagogue shooter killed 11 people. As per Wikipedia, the 46-year-old Robert Bowers social media "cover picture was a photo with the number 1488, which is used by neo-Nazis and white supremacists to evoke David Lane's Fourteen Words and the Nazi slogan Heil Hitler". He also believes there is a "white genocide" taking place.

Although Bowers thought tRump was not doing enough because "there is no #MAGA as long as there is a [Jewish] infestation". tRump supporters will, of course, deny that their Orange leader is in any way responsible. I'm not buying it. This attack marks a surge of anti-Semitism. The ADL says "2017 saw a nearly 60% surge in reported anti-Semitic incidents - which came on top of a 35% increase the year before".

So why such a dramatic rise in anti-Semitic hate crimes in the last 2 years? Might it be that a White-Supremacist-supported candidate was "elected" predisent? I say YES. Remember the march in Charlottesville where NAZIs and people waving Confederate flags chanted "Jews will not replace us"? This was a rally to Unite the Right. Donald tRump acknowledged that these were his peeps when he declared them "very fine people".

David Duke, who was at the rally, said "this represents a turning point for the people of this country. We are determined to take our country back. We are going to fulfill the promises of Donald Trump. That's what we believe in. That's why we voted for Donald Trump. Because he said he's going to take our country back. And that's what we've got to do".

Take our country back from who? Obviously, given who is talking, we know he's talking about minorities. After a Black man served 2 terms as president finally things are back on track with a White Man in the White House (not a Black man and not a White woman). A White Man David Duke knows is fully on board with their agenda. And David Duke is NOT wrong. Donald tRump has signaled to them (given that he can't come right out and proclaim he is a proud White Nationalist) that he stands with David Duke and his people.

Another signal came recently when tRump declared himself to be a "Nationalist". He left off the "White" part, but AGAIN, the racist MAGA supporters knew what he was talking about.

Steve Bannon, the former White House adviser who helped Trump craft his campaign, has long embraced nationalism and rejected "globalism". The right-wing website he edited, Breitbart, regularly expounded on such themes and has continued to do so after Bannon's departure. After Trump's speech Monday, the site highlighted Trump's nationalist declaration on Twitter.

Breitbart's association with the neo-fascist movement calling itself the "alt-right" has led to many people conflating nationalism with "white nationalism", which not only claims a given nation should take priority, but that the white race should be protected and valued above all others.

In Europe, many nationalist movements that oppose an international world order and immigration into the continent are often overtly aligned with white nationalists and anti-Semitic groups. For many of the president's critics, Trump's embrace of the nationalist label signaled that he also embraces the racism and xenophobia associated with those movements. ("I am a nationalist": Trump's embrace of controversial label sparks uproar by William Cummings. 10/24/2018).

"For many of the president's critics"? Sure, but also for many of his fans. Also, in regards to "conflating", that is a word that is often used to criticize anyone trying to equate two things that are NOT the same. But here the Nationalists themselves "conflate" (i.e. "to fuse into one entity; merge") Nationalism and White Nationalism. The White Nationalists know tRump is simply leaving off the "White" when he proclaims himself to be a Nationalist. Which is why they applaud Donald tRump's strongest declaration yet that he is one of them.

Donald tRump, of course, condemns the Synagogue shooting. But only because he has too. To keep up the paper-thin charade. If Robert Bowers bought the charade is of little consequence. Donald tRump began the fear mongering concerning the caravan. Fear mongering which was taken up by the right-wing hate machine. A right-wing hate machine that Bowers listened to. And why he carried out his attacks.

Cause and effect. A somewhat indirect line from tRump to Bowers. And this time the right can't call the attacks a "hoax" as they did in regard to Cesar Sayoc. None of his 14 bombs exploded and nobody was killed they say. Bowers killed 11 people. And, yes, as far as I am concerned it is because tRump has dog-whistled to and emboldened the bigots on the right.

Thoughts On Phil Bredesen, Conserva-Dem Running For The TN Senate Seat (And His Taylor Swift Endorsement)

Will the Taylor Swift endorsement help? Perhaps a lot of young Taylor Swift fans will push him over the top and he will defeat the horrible Marsha Blackburn. According to Blackburn's ad, Bredesen is against building tRump's idiotic wall, which is why you should vote for her. Even though the wall (as described by tRump during the campaign) will NEVER be built (a solid unbroken contiguous barrier build of solid material i.e. not a fence or series of walls not connected to each other unbroken from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific ocean).

Bredesen is against building the wall. The commercial plays audio of Bredesen saying he doesn't think the wall is the answer. Then the audio rewinds and plays again. Because you should be SHOCKED that he would say such a thing. But only if you are a stupid trumper rube would you think this wall is a good idea.

Bredesen is smart for opposing the wall. But he is not smart for weighing in on the Kavanaugh nomination. Why say anything? But he said he'd have voted for blackout Brett. As per his campaign ads, his strategy is obviously to appeal to republican voters. Bredesen is a former Democratic governor of TN. While governor he addressed budget concerns by kicking people off Tennessee's health care program (TNcare). He also opposed the ACA.

Although this might be what he feels he needs to do in order to win an election in RED Tennessee (and he is likely correct. Still WHY say he would vote for Brett?). All the republican nominees (for the House as well as other state offices) ran ads trying to out-tRump each other (prior to the primaries). Bredesen's conserva-Dem-ness turns me off. But I suppose he is wagering that TN Democrats have little recourse. Unless TN Dems want the horrible Marsha Blackburn to win what choice do they have but vote for him? Even though he is a conserva-Dem. Like Joe Manchin (the ONLY Democrat to vote for Brett).

In a Blackburn ad, tRump (in a clip I'm guessing is from one of his ego-stroking rallies), proclaims that Bredesen will vote with the Dems and against the MAGA agenda "every time". But Phil has an ad in which he says he doesn't care where ideas come from. If tRump is for something and it's a good thing, he'll vote for it.

To which I say... what are the chances that will happen? Close to none, I'd wager. Yet Phil has to make a point of him possibly voting with and cooperating with Republicans. He also stresses that he "worked across party lines" as governor. Uninformed voters might think he is a republican... if they didn't watch any of Marsha's ads. According to Marsha, Phil is a corrupt ultra-Liberal who will raise your taxes 19 percent to pay for his healthcare plan (despite kicking people off TNcare and OPPOSING the ACA).

BTW, did you hear that the White Supremacists are upset that Swift endorsed Bredesen? Apparently they assumed that the White, blonde, blue-eyed Swift was some kind of Aryan princess. Or an "Aryan Goddess [and] Nazi Avatar of the White European People". LOL.

I’m writing this post about the upcoming midterm elections on November 6th, in which I’ll be voting in the state of Tennessee. In the past I’ve been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now. I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country. I believe in the fight for LGBTQ rights, and that any form of discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender is WRONG. I believe that the systemic racism we still see in this country towards people of color is terrifying, sickening and prevalent. I cannot vote for someone who will not be willing to fight for dignity for ALL Americans, no matter their skin color, gender or who they love. Running for Senate in the state of Tennessee is a woman named Marsha Blackburn. As much as I have in the past and would like to continue voting for women in office, I cannot support Marsha Blackburn. Her voting record in Congress appalls and terrifies me. She voted against equal pay for women. She voted against the Reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act, which attempts to protect women from domestic violence, stalking, and date rape. She believes businesses have a right to refuse service to gay couples. She also believes they should not have the right to marry. These are not MY Tennessee values. I will be voting for Phil Bredesen for Senate and Jim Cooper for House of Representatives. Please, please educate yourself on the candidates running in your state and vote based on who most closely represents your values. For a lot of us, we may never find a candidate or party with whom we agree 100% on every issue, but we have to vote anyway. So many intelligent, thoughtful, self-possessed people have turned 18 in the past two years and now have the right and privilege to make their vote count. But first you need to register, which is quick and easy to do. October 9th is the LAST DAY to register to vote in the state of TN. Go to vote.org and you can find all the info. Happy Voting! 🗳😃🌈

Dotard Predisent Deeply In Love With New Beau, Plans On Dumping Melania For Kim Jong Un

So the dotard predisent says "and then we fell in love. He wrote me beautiful letters". The "he" the predisent refers to is the dictator of North Korea, Kim Jong Un.

"How horrible is that?" the dotard asks. It's pretty horrible. Given that, as per the Orange Turd himself, "Kim Jong Un of North Korea, who is obviously a madman who doesn't mind starving or killing his people..." (DJT tweet from 9/22/2017).

Kim starves and kills his people. On this the Orange Turd is correct.

The CIA estimates the population of North Korea to be about 25 million people. Between 80,000 and 120,000 people are detained in one of the country's massive prison camps for political prisoners, according to a 2014 estimate by the UN. That's not including those in regular criminal prisons or labour camps. ...

"In the political prison camps... the inmate population has been gradually eliminated through deliberate starvation, forced labour, executions, torture, rape and the denial of reproductive rights enforced through punishment, forced abortion and infanticide... estimates [are] that hundreds of thousands of political prisoners have perished in these camps over the past five decades".

The dotard and Kim are in love? Is this a "match made in Heaven" or, more likely, in Hell? Regardless, it must be TRUE love, as DJT usually bangs chicks on the side, only divorcing and remarrying if a child is the result. That is what happened when he divorced his first wife to marry Marla Maples, at least.

He divorced Ivana after he knocked up Marla. Marla may have thought they were in love, but the Donald was moving on to a newer model. As per DJT himself, what he looks for in a mate is that she be "a young and beautiful piece of ass". Obviously Kim Jong Un is not "a hot piece of ass". Another indication that the DJT/KJU romance is REAL.

Since they are deeply in love, I imagine that they will want to spend the rest of their lives together. And DJT, given his advanced age, does not have much time left. The dotard expressed an interest in building condos and hotels near NK's "great beaches". I say he resign the presidency immediately, move to NK, marry Kim, and start living his dream.

The Muller investigation can continue, since Pence will be president, and - as Stephanie Miller says - Pence is "up to his albino eyebrows in this". "This" being the collusion between Russia and the tRump campaign that allowed them to steal the election. I'm not sure, but my guess would be that we have no extradition treaty with North Korea.

I would be fine, however, with tRump staying in NK and living out the rest of his life there. If being with KJU brings the Orange Turd happiness, I'd be OK with tRump being happy and not being punished for his many crimes (both before and after stealing the presidency). As long as Donald and his new husband remain in NK.

Predisent tRump Celebrates 9/11 With A Double Fist Pump. Also, Never Forget That gwb Allowed The Attacks To Occur (Due To His "Incompetence")

I lived in New York at the time. I remember him calling into WOR radio and saying, "I have the tallest building in Manhattan now". Him saying he saw he saw Muslims cheering in New Jersey. Lie after lie ~ Stephanie Miller on 9/12/2018 broadcast of her eponymous program.

The picture below is from 9/11/2018, the 17th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of 2001. It shows predisent Donald Trump and his current wife Melania arriving at John Murtha Johnstown-Cambria County Airport in Johnstown PA.

Trump was on his way to the Flight 93 memorial. Wikipedia notes that "the Flight 93 National Memorial is located at the site of the crash of United Airlines Flight 93, which was hijacked in the September 11 attacks, in Stonycreek Township, Somerset County PA, about 60 miles southeast of Pittsburgh".

A story from People website says "the majority of the backlash was focused on the double fist pump gesture... with critics saying it reflected a lack of respect and an inability to feel empathy for another person's loss".

An "inability to feel empathy for another person's loss" you say? What else would you except from a raging egomaniacal narcissist?

By the way, 9/11 is the day that we should never forget that a preventable attack was NOT averted due to the negligence of the last incompetent Republican president. Although some think it wasn't incompetence that lead to the 9/11 terrorist attacks, but deliberate ignorance. Because gwb determined that (re PNAC's longing for a new Pearl Harbor) an attack on the United States would galvanize the populance for war. Then bush junior could go back into Iraq and correct the mistake his father made in not removing Saddam Hussein from power.

But back to the current hughley incompetent Republican potus. tRump was clearly very enthused to attend another rally where adoring #trumpdupes would cheer for the #worstpresidentever. Instead of being a solemn day to honor the 2977 innocent people who lost their lives, the Orange Turd believed it to be a day to celebrate his greatness.

Just like he made 9/11 all about him ON THE DAY OF THE ATTACK!

"40 Wall Street actually was the second-tallest building in downtown Manhattan, and it was actually, before the World Trade Center, was the tallest", the then-businessman said in a telephone interview on the afternoon of Sept. 11 with local New Jersey television station WWOR.

"And then, when they built the World Trade Center, it became known as the second-tallest. And now it's the tallest", added Trump, who has a history of making tasteless and false comments about 9/11, including baseless claims that "thousands" of Muslims in New Jersey celebrated the attacks. (Donald Trump Falsely Boasted About Having Tallest Building In 9/11 Aftermath by Lee Moran. HuffPo 9/11/2018).

For the record, it was actually 70 Pine Street (952 feet tall) that became the tallest building in NY. While Trump Tower at 40 Wall Street became the 2nd tallest (927 feet tall). 1 World Trade Center was 1,368 feet tall - the same height as it's replacement (although, if you include the spire, the height is 1,776 feet). BTW, while originally dubbed the "Freedom Tower", that name was (apparently) dropped.

Snopes says that Trump was bragging about having the tallest building in NY following the destruction of the World Trade Center is "open to interpretation". Because we don't know what was going on in his mind when he said that. But we KNOW the narcissist brags about everything and everything HAS to be about him.

So, yeah, no dice Snopes. Although Snopes is a fact checking organization. As opposed to an opinion site. Or biased Lefty Trump haters (an absurd claim made by a trumper who calls himself Minus FJ). So what they wrote is technically accurate while patently false.

As per Malcolm Nance, "I turn on the TV and here is Trump fist pumping like this is a campaign rally. This is the most sacred day... 3 thousand of our fellow Americans were mass murdered. ... This man is just a disgusting, vile person who will defile the worst day in modern American history".

This commentary from Mr. Nance (from the 9/12/2018 airing of the Stephanie Miller Show) sums it up pretty well, I think. Trump is a vile Orange Turd. When it appears he is doing something selfless, you can be 100 certain that his motivation is self-aggrandizement. Like when he rushed down to the site of the Twin Towers collapse.

Lisa, a Right-wing trumper blogger, in a post that declares tRump to be a "true American", writes that "2 days after the September 11th attacks Donald Trump was at ground zero with hundreds of workers that he payed for to help find and identify victims". He couldn't have sent those workers without showing up himself (making sure he was photographed)?

Although Snopes says the picture was taken on 9/18/2018 outside the NY stock Exchange, 7 days after the September 11 attacks. Snopes also says that the claims that Trump hired all these workers to identify remains - was according to tRump himself (comments he made to NBC News). The fact checking site tried but could not verify the claim.

"We reached out to the White House Press Office and the Trump Organization asking for corroborating evidence of these claims but received no response". Me, I think tRump got in front of a camera and made up a story in order to make himself look like a hero.

Video: YouTube says "broadcast on NBC WRC at 3:50pm on September 13th 2001".

Illegitimate Criminal peetus Selects SCOTUS Justice Who Sez Predisent Is Above The Law

I agree with Rob Reiner regarding the peetus selecting Brett Kavanaugh to replace the retiring Anthony Kennedy.

As per Kavanaugh, "...I believe that the President should be excused from some of the burdens of ordinary citizenship while serving in office [because] the indictment and trial of a sitting President... would cripple the federal government, rendering it unable to function...".

Gee, I wonder why the Putin puppet chose this guy. "Kavanaugh's arguments reject history, legal precedents, and the logic of a system that is supposed to place the rule of law over the rule of men" John Nichols of The Nation writes.

This opinion came after the hypocrite urged the impeachment of President Bill Clinton for lying about a bj. A change of heart which suggests that when he said (in 2006) "he considered Roe v. Wade binding under the principle of stare decisis and would seek to uphold the ruling of the higher court", he can't be trusted.

Charlie Pierce, appearing by phone on the 7/10/2018 airing of the Stephanie Miller Show, said (regarding Brett) "he's terrible on guns. He's an absolute corporate puppet. He's awful on unions. He thinks the entire Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is unconstitutional".

So Brett is anti-choice, pro-gun murder, anti-consumer, anti-worker and anti-environment. So he checks off all the Republican boxes. Republican are all about less rights for the plebs and more rights for the wealthy. And they get votes they need to institute their plutocratic agenda by pandering to the intolerant religious zealots and racist nationalist bigots (aka Trump's base).

BTW, Brett was accused of misleading the Senate during his confirmation hearing when he was nominated to the DC Appeals Court by Bush in 2003. So you know he's going to lie about totally being about upholding precedent... and totally fool Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski.

Both have said they support the Roe V Wade decision and would oppose a SCOTUS pick who is "hostile" to it. Which Brett is. But I say they'll end up voting for Brett. #trumpdupe The Debonair Dude sez "Judge Kavanaugh is a strong willed constitutionalist". Suggesting he would be apolitical and judge strictly based on the Constitution. To which I say BULLPLOP!

John Roberts peddled the same BS when he promised that his role, as a SCOTUS judge, would be to "call balls and strikes". A Daily Beast article from 6/18/2012 titled "John Roberts Is Just a Liar" describes Roberts and Alito as "politicians in robes".

Kavanaugh is another politician in a robe, as Michael Moore points out. A far Right politician who will serve the far right trumper agenda. F*ck precedent and the Constitution. Obviously of utmost importance (to the person who selected him) is protecting the colluding Putin-puppet. You KNOW that's why the Orange Turd selected him.

Unless you are a member of the Orange Turd Cult. Then you think Kavanaugh is fantastic and are overjoyed... that democracy is coming to an end and America will soon be fundamentally transformed into a fascistic oligarchic theocracy.

America's Fundamental Transformation Into An Fascist Oligarchic Theocracy Is At Hand

Anthony Kennedy, a moderate-ish Reagan-appointed SCOTUS justice who was the swing vote in upholding a woman's right to choose, the victory for marriage equality and a number of other cases (where he sided with the more liberal justices) is retiring. Predisent Trump, a moron who pandered to the far Right religious nutters to solidify the White vote, promised to appoint SCOTUS judges who are hostile to the rights of women.

On 10/30/2008 candidate Obama informed the electorate that "we are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America". The Right went nuts and brought up that quote ad nauseam. Apparently they thought he was referring to a socialist dystopia.

The two transformations that come to mind are the ACA and the SCOTUS ruling that brought us marriage equality. Both are now in danger. The ACA, for the record, was a Republican idea and is not what Progressives wanted (single payer). There was no "fundamental transformation" of America. And Obama was a moderate, so I fail to see how he could have brought about the democratic socialist transformation that we need.

Predisent Trump, the racist White Nationalist appeasing treasonous Putin puppet who serves the interests of the oligarchs, on the other hand... is on the cusp of achieving real fundamental transformation. A transformation that will be unstoppable regardless of how long the Orange Turd's reign of terror lasts. Me, I think he may resign, but regardless he won't run in 2020.

On the other hand, with the departure of Kennedy and the 100% probability that Trump will try to install a Right-wing corporatist religious nutter-appeasing extremist SCOTUS judge, Trump could win again. The Supreme Court already favors Republicans in gerrymandering cases.

Sham elections in which a minority of the electorate chooses our leaders could be an irreversible reality soon. Trump was elected by a minority of voters. Kris Kobach disenfranchised God knows how many people who had the legitimate right to vote. Via his Interstate Crosscheck election fraud scheme.

The number was surely enough to swing the election in favor of Trump, causing the legitimate winner, Hillary Clinton to "lose". Add to that the effects of Gerrymandering and the Russian meddling and I think it is clear that the 2016 potus election was stolen (SWTD #358).

If Democrats fail to take back the House and Senate in the 2018 midterms democracy as we know it is over. The transformation of American into a fascist oligarchic theocracy will be assured.

Kennedy must not give a crap about his legacy given that he's retiring now instead of waiting until the midterms. That he's handing his seat to a Trump-appointed far right extremist makes me say F*CK HIM. He could wait another 5 months, then retire after the blue wave. Which may or may not come. Trumper politicians are saying there will be a red wave. Something that isn't supported by historical precedent.

The party of an incumbent president usually loses seats in midterm elections. Do they know that Russian meddling (Russia = Red) is going to benefit them again? Surely you've heard that this is "the most important election of our lifetime" many times in the past. With democracy on the line I think that this time it is absolutely true. #SaveDemocracy #ResistTrump.

Instead of being almost over, the Trump nightmare may be just beginning. How sad and pathetic is it that it might be a stinky #OrangeTurd that kills democracy?

Trump Admits His Lie About Anthem Kneelers Disrespecting Flag & Troops Is Total Bullplop

Executive clemency is officially just a reality TV show at this point ~ Stephen Colbert on the 6/7/2018 airing of The Late Show.

Apparently the race-baiter-in-chief is obsessed with his ability to pardon. As per a CNN story, "Trump will ask athletes who kneel during anthem to recommend people for pardoning".

CNN: ...Donald Trump says he wants to meet with NFL players and athletes who kneel during the National Anthem so they can recommend people they think should be pardoned because they were treated unfairly by the justice system. "I'm going to ask them to recommend to me people who were unfairly treated", Trump said at the White House Friday. (Excerpted from a 6/8/2018 CNN article).

OK, so while this isn't necessarily a bad idea, isn't it an ADMISSION that his whine (about kneeling during the anthem disrespecting the flag and our troops) is complete bullplop? Sounds like an acknowledgement to me that Black people are unfairly treated by law enforcement and our justice system.

Although the "unfair" treatment usually consists of the (often unarmed) Black person being shot and killed. Not exactly something a person can be pardoned from (death, that is). Also, even though the NFL just caved and said NFL players who kneeled would be fined, Trump continued to whine. Players shouldn't have the option to stay in the locker room. "NFL, no escaping to Locker Rooms!" BLOTUS tweeted recently.

So, now that he's admitting that their grievances are legit, will an apology be forthcoming? Just kidding. Everyone knows that Trump does not apologize. Personally I think the Orange Turd is only exercising his pardon power because it feeds his enormous ego. He's pardoning famous people. Conservatives like the scumbag sheriff Arpaio and admitted campaign finance violator (and disgusting birther) Dinesh D'Souza. As well as famous people (including former Celebrity apprentice contestants) and people who have celebrity advocates.

Alice Marie Johnson, in prison for life for her involvement in a cocaine ring, had her sentence commuted after Kim Kardashian and her Trump-loving husband Kanye West visited the White House. But hasn't Trump previously said drug dealers should get the death penalty?

According to her indictment, Alice Marie Johnson was "the head of the multi-million dollar cocaine ring, and... [her] Memphis operation was connected to Colombian drug dealers based in Texas". As per Trump's wish that drug dealers be put to death, and given that the court said her activities had a "very significant impact on the community", isn't the real miscarriage of justice here that she wasn't executed?

Not that I think we should be putting drug dealers to death. I think she clearly turned her life around in prison, has been "rehabilitated" and deserved the commutation. But she would not have gotten one if not for her celebrity advocates. And I'm sure Kanye's stroking of Trump's ego helped too.

Trump thinks he is a celebrity, but deep down he knows he is a low-rent one. But he desperately wants to be accepted by that crowd. Me, I don't know how the hell a failed businessman who declared bankruptcy multiple times ever got a TV show. Especially one where he played a successful businessman who judged the business acumen of contestants. As per an Apprentice producer, "we'd often be shocked at whomever Trump chose to fire. Our first priority on every episode like that was to reverse-engineer the show to make it look like his judgment had some basis in reality".

Of course the Right will point to this idea as "proof" that Trump isn't a White Nationalist racist a-hole. I'm not buying it. If Trump were serious about addressing injustices in the criminal justice system, he'd get behind "comprehensive, bipartisan sentencing reform".

Washington Post: The federal prison population dropped while the nation continued to experience near-record-low crime rates [when changes were made which] cut back on overly punitive mandatory minimum sentences. Unfortunately, the White House has different ideas. President Trump warned of "American carnage" in his inaugural address, and Attorney General Jeff Sessions has stoked false and misleading claims of rising crime. Bowing to the president's most extreme allies, the White House has put forward the First Step Act, which leaves out sentencing reform entirely. (Excerpted from a 5/21/2018 WP article).

Pardons (for celebrities and those with celebrity advocates) doesn't address the underlying problem. The underlying problem which the NFL anthem kneelers are protesting. Now Trump wants their advice on who to pardon? And I thought any NFL player who kneels is a "son of bitch" that should be fired.

The Youtuber who posted this video was impressed that we finally have "a president who actually respects America's culture, heritage and flag". Strongly implying that the previous (Black) president didn't respect any of those things.

"You have to stand proudly for the national anthem or you shouldn't be playing, you shouldn't be there — maybe you shouldn't be in the country" Trump told the Fox and Friends after the NFL caved to his demands that their players be forced to stand for the anthem.

It's red meat for his racist base. Obviously, given this admission, that's what's going on. So why meet with NFL anthem kneelers to discuss possible pardons if they are America-haters who should be deported?

Ann Coulter On Trump's "Caligula Lifestyle"

...it is a dangerous world out there. It's like Vietnam, sort of. It is my personal Vietnam. I feel like a great and very brave solider ~ Donald Trump speaking about avoiding STDs during his single years in the late 90s (1997 Howard Stern interview).

Ann Coulter is a huge Trump supporter. She wrote a book titled "In Trump We Trust" (published prior to the election). Although Coulter has yet to turn on Trump, since the election her support has not been unwavering.

For example, Trump signed legislation back in March that kept the government open and avoided a shutdown. And, while the spending bill did include $1.6 billion for border obstacles, these obstacles were fencing. And it was already existing fencing (repairing and replacing). No money for the border spanning wall Trump promised (and continues to promise).

In response Ann Coulter went on Fox News and, expressing her disappointment, told Jeanine Pirro "the fact that he signed this omnibus bill is the last straw and just says he never wanted to do it" (build the wall). Because Ann has expressed some disappointment with Trump, some say she has "become an outspoken critic".

Is that true? Does Coulter no longer support Trump? Does she no longer believe he is "E Pluribus Awesome!" (the subtitle of her sycophantic book)? Maybe. Perhaps she has something to say about Trump's continued cheating on his wives (two divorces with an inevitable 3rd one coming) and if she said something on this topic in a recent article?

What is Ann thinking regarding Trump's dalliances with porn stars and Playboy bunnies that have come to light recently? If she had something critical to say in regards to that I might be convinced she is now an "outspoken critic".

AC: The liberal protection racket for sexual predators was always intimately intertwined with the Clintons. The template used to defend Bill Clinton became a model for all left-wing sexual predators. They all hired the same lawyers and detectives and counted on the same cultural elites to mete out punishment to anyone who stood in the way of their Caligula lifestyles.

This is an excerpt from Ann's 5/31/2018 article "Harvey Weinstein And The Clinton Protection Racket". She accuses "Left-wing sexual predators" of "Caligula lifestyles", then goes on to CREDIT Trump for Weinstein's fall from grace.

AC: It's hard to avoid the impression that a big part of the reason Weinstein was finally exposed is that the Clinton machine is dead. Trump killed it. ... After years of feminists excusing sexual predators, once the Clintons were out of the way, the dam broke. There was no reason to keep humiliating themselves by defending the indefensible.

Yeah, I'm sure that was it. Meanwhile the Right (including the so-called evangelical Right) continues to humiliate themselves defending the indefensible pussy-grabber in the White House. And shills and hacks like Coulter give him credit for helping #metoo bring down a scumbag like Weinstein. Sounds to me like Ann is still all in for Trump.

Weinstein, despite being a Democrat and HRC supporter, is a scumbag. Is he a bigger scumbag than Trump? When it comes to using his power to sexually harass and even rape women, he probably is. On the other hand he isn't a traitor who colluded with a foreign government to steal an election. As far as I know Weinstein hasn't been accused of any other illegal activities, such as laundering money for Russian oligarchs and mobsters.

Weinstein is currently facing justice for his decades of abuse. He deserves to rot in prison for the rest of his life. Trump? I pray he suffers the same fate. For the record, Trump has been accused of rape 3 times. One of his accusers says she was 13 when (as per a 2016 lawsuit) when she was the victim of a "savage sexual attack" at the hands of Donald Trump. "My family and I would be physically harmed if not killed" the woman Trump raped says (similar to what Stormy Daniels reports happened to her).

Yet hypocrites like Coulter credit Trump with sparking the #metoo movement and bringing down Weinstein? Unbelievable! As for the predictable response of "what about Bill Clinton"... do the alleged WJC crimes against women excuse the (very credible) allegations against Trump, Cons? Obviously trumpers believe they do.

No, scratch that. They think Trump is innocent. He only had consensual sex (including when he cheated). But guess who also makes that claim? If you said Harvey Weinstein you got it right.

Caligula was a ruler known only for being a sexual pervert, but is also known for his cruelty, sadism, extravagance and being an insane tyrant. Seems to me that Trump is more a Caligula than Bill Clinton was. Unless you believe the conspiracy theory that says the Clintons have been having their enemies murdered (and getting away with it for decades). Which I do not.

Referring to The Orange Turd as "Caligula" really angers the vile Hillary-hating troll Paul/Luke/Steve. This is an asshole who was thrilled when Trump became president. Not because he thought Trump would "make America great" but because he hates Democrats so much. Honestly I think Paul (name he is currently using) would love to see Trump destroy the United States.

Rational Nation: Trump is so unliked by the majority of Americans he is even being compared to the Roman Emperor Caligula. We here at this weblog find the comparison quite apt in several ways. (1/14/2017.

"...add Caligula to these idiot's description of Trump" was Paul's indignant response. Yeah, well f*ck you "Paul". You're the idiot. An idiot who rooted for Trump, but now pretends he's opposed to Trump. Trump is a Caligula-ish ruler, absolutely. Regardless of what Trump lovers like Paul and Ann may think.

Video: Did Caligula want to date his own daughter? I'm not sure, although he apparently did have sex with his 3 sisters (Agrippina, Drusilla, and Julia Livilla).

Is The Trump Nightmare Almost Over?

(HT to Beantown AntiFacist for directing me to the following video. 2:10).

According to Beanie (a hardcore #trumpdupe who hangs out at WYD) the video represents the end of a "Dervy dream". It's all going to be over soon... for Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice and Loretta Lynch. All members of the anti-Trump "deep state cabal" who will be going to prison very soon.

My only quibble with this video is that it shows Ivanka Trump sitting in her car (at the end) watching her husband Jared being arrested. The truth is that Ivanka is not guiltless. She's neck deep in the same money laundering crimes as her husband and father.

As per Malcolm Nance's tweet, a day of reckoning may soon be at hand for the Trump Crime Family. There is a reason that Trump is hiding his tax returns.

Note that, as per Nance, Mueller's end game is Money Laundering. That is what will bring down Predisent "no collusion". Perhaps with a side order of Obstruction of Justice and Emoluments Clause violations. IMO it's clear Donald Trump has been laundering Russian money for a long time. If he hadn't run for the presidency and "won" he probably would have been able to continue flying under the radar/getting away with his crimes.

Mueller Time is coming. At which point, as with Nixon, the GOP will be forced to concede that Trump has to go. Or so I hope. I can't predict the future and we don't know yet how this will play out, but I don't see how this does not end badly. If not for Trump, then for many people associated with him and related to him.

BTW, the Attorney General of NY, Eric Schneiderman (hero who got 25 million for the victims of Trump's university scam), is running parallel investigations to Mueller's. If Trump pardons members of his crime family for Federal violations of the law, Schneiderman can bring charges in state court. These would be convictions Trump has no power to make disappear (as he did with that scumbag Joe Arpaio).

Update 5/16/2018: So, it turns out that Eric Schneiderman is a scumbag who abused women and NOT a hero. Although it still is good that the victims of Trump's university scam got some compensation. They weren't made whole (as I understand it) but at least Trump had to (partially) repay what he ripped off. Keep in mind that while the scumbag Schneiderman has resigned, his office will continue with the parallel investigations and hold members of the Trump crime family accountable if necessary.

GOP Liars Tom Cotton, David Perdue And Kirstjen Nielsen (Re Trump Racist Shithole Vulgarity)

Sir, they're not shithole countries. For one, Donald Trump is not their president ~ Stephen Colbert during the The Late Show monologue, 1/11/2017.

Apparently referring to Haiti, El Salvador and African Nations (all of them?) as "shitholes" was a strategy. Trump stooge Thomas Lifson, writing for the American Thinker, sez "Trump has his enemies dancing to his tune with shithole Countries". The "strategy"? To make "everyone whom he outraged... repeat the words he wants to sink in with the public" [1].

Sure. Conservative blogger Erick Erickson tweeted that "he spoke to one of the president's friends who said Trump called him up to brag about the remarks because he felt it would play well with his base".

That's it. He said it, he was proud he said it. Or maybe it was "shithouse". Even though that's a distinction without a difference. As per Vox, "publicly, they deny Trump said shithole. Privately, they claim he said shithouse. It's bizarre".

The shit-whatever racist insult was another nod to the racist base. People like Freethinke and Thersites. What Trump was saying to these very fine people was "I hate black people from shithole countries and don't want them here, same as you".

But the twice named Erick is not a fan of Donald Trump, so he probably lied. Like Senator Dick Durbin, who first reported that Trump used the vulgarity, and that he used it multiple times. Senators Senators Tom Cotton and David Perdue, who were at the meeting, said they had not heard the predisent use the insulting vultarity.

At first. Later they changed their story. The new narrative (coming after the predisent tweeted that he had used "tough language" but NOT that specific vulgar term) was that Dick Durbin "has a history of misrepresenting what happens in White House meetings" (Cotton's words on Face The Nation, 11/14/2018) [2].

DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen repeated the same "tough language" bullshit in testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee on 1/16/2018. Her dissembling so transparent as to be laughable. If you find perjury laughable. She was asked if Lindsey Graham repeated Trump's "tough language". Nielsen said he did, but "couldn't remember" the exact words. What a load of bullplop.

(Video: DHS Secretary Nielsen lies under oath. 2:46).

When asked by Senator Patrick Leahy, "Did president Trump use that word, or a substantially similar word, to describe certain countries", Kirstjen Nielsen lied. "I did not hear that word used, no sir". When pressed she answered "I don't dispute that the president was using tough language. Others in the room were also using tough language".

How can you confirm "tough language" if you don't know what the "tough language" was? She refused to say the word (words?) because it was "shithole". Or a substantially similar word. So what if she perjured herself, I guess. Trumpers don't care, of course. If Trump didn't call these countries "shitholes" then he SHOULD have. We'd prefer White people from Norway (for example) to emigrate to the United States.

Although Nielsen isn't sure if Norway is a majority White nation. As if Norwegians are lined up waiting to enter the United States. Norway being a high income country with universal health care and a comprehensive social security system. They also rank first on the World Happiness Report and other such indexes.

Maybe Trump was referring to Normay, which might be a country with a majority Black population? Although all the Normayian Blacks are high skilled, high earners who yearn to leave Normay in order to start new lives in the United States.

There is no such country as "Normay", however (or Binomo or Nambia). Trump cited lily White Norway (which is 86.2% Ethnic Norwegian) because he just met with Norway's prime minister, Erna Solberg.

In a press conference following the meeting Trump mentioned Norway's order of (nonexistent) F-52 fighter jets, went on at length about how the Democrats colluded with Russia to lose the election, then slammed green energy (when "Norway is arguably the leader in the global pursuit for sustainable energy)).

Predisent Trump is right, the world is laughing at us. Although the laughing isn't because we're investigating Trump's collusion with Russia. It's due to the fact that we "elected" an incompetent reality teevee star buffoon and racist misogynist bigot as our president.

(Video: Rocky Mountain Mike's "A Little Shithole". 1:41).

[1] Thomas Lifson, a Berkeley CA sociologist and business adviser, in addition to being a Trump stooge, is the Editor-in-Chief of the American Thinker, as well as one of it's founders (founded in 2003 along with 2 other people).
[2] The Washington Times says Cotton "was referring to the Obama administration contradicting Mr. Durbin's account of a 2013 meeting in which he claimed then-House Republican leader Eric Cantor told President Obama, I cannot even stand to look at you. At the time, White House press secretary Jay Carney said it didn't happen". Neither Durbin nor Carney were present at the meeting in question, however. According to Carney "I looked into this and spoke with somebody who was in that meeting, and it did not happen". Regarding the quote, John Boehner said Durbin "invented [it] out of thin air". The White House later issued a statement that read "While the quote attributed to a Republican lawmaker in the House GOP meeting with the President is not accurate, there was a miscommunication when the White House read out that meeting to Senate Democrats, and we regret the misunderstanding".

On The Inevitability Of A Trump Presidency (Fire & Fury Excerpts #1)

Everyone it seems is talking about the new Trump book by Michael Wolff: Fire and Fury. On the blogs and on MSNBC. It's entirely a work of fiction according to the subject of the book. Although they (the Trump administration) did give Mr. Wolff unfettered access to the White House. Thinking he'd write something flattering, apparently. Even though a previous tome on Rupert Murdoch was not.

Anyway, I recently acquired a digital copy and started reading yesterday (1/7/2017). What follows are some excerpts in which Wolff confirms that Trump never actually wanted to be elected president. I've heard a number of people suggest this previously. Notably Liberal Talk Radio show personality Thom Hartmann. Trump (as well as a number of the other Republican candidates for president) didn't want to be (or think they had a chance of being elected) president. They did it to raise the value of their brand.

Now, as opposed to being speculation, Wolff has confirmed that, yes, Trump's campaign was phony. In that he never wanted or expected to win the election.

Trump's longtime friend Roger Ailes like to say that if you wanted a career in television, first run for president. Now Trump, encouraged by Ailes, was floating rumors about a Trump network. It was a great future.

He would come out of the campaign, Trump assured Ailes, with a far more powerful brand and untold opportunities. "This is bigger than I ever dreamed of", he told Ailes in a conversation a week before the election. "I don't think about losing because it isn't losing. We've totally won". What's more, he was already laying down his public response to losing the election: it was stolen!

Donald Trump and his tiny band of campaign warriors were ready to lose with fire and fury. They were not ready to win.

In politics somebody has to lose, but invariably everybody thinks they can win. And you probably can't win unless you believe that you will win - except in the Trump campaign.

The leitmotif for Trump about his own campaign was how crappy it was and how everybody involved in it was a loser. He was equally convinced that the Clinton people were brilliant winners - "They've got the best and we've got the worst", he frequently said. ... "This thing", he told the Mercers, "is so fucked up". ... by every meaningful indicator, something greater than a sense of doom shadowed what Steve Bannon called "the broke-dick campaign".

...the prospect of her husband's actually becoming president was, for Melania, a horrifying one. He offered his wife a solenm guarantee: there was simply no way he would win.

The Trump campaign had, perhaps less than inadvertently, replicated the scheme from Mel Brook's The Producers. (Source: Chapter 2, Trump Tower).

The chapter goes on with more about how Trump didn't want to be president and that it was all a scam. He wanted to start a TV network. Roger Ailes, interested in a comeback, had decided that he needed a Billion dollars. After the election, however, the narrative in the delusional Trump's addled brain changed. Instead of his election being something that had no chance at all of happening, now it was inevitable. A view his cult members have adopted. The people rejected "crooked Hillary".

This they believe even though, out of all the eligible voters, only around 58% bothered to vote (around half usually being the percentage). And I don't think you can say that, by not voting, these people were actually voicing their support for Trump (an argument I've heard). Given the fact that Hillary Clinton was expected to win, I'd say that of the non voters, many of them thought Hillary would be the winner (and might have voted for her if they had bothered to cast a ballot).

Trump, on the other hand, was expected to lose. People wanting Trump as president Trump had to get out and vote. Or accept the inevitability of a Hillary Clinton presidency. Indeed, Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by 2.8 million votes.

However, as far as vote totals go, I don't put much stock in them as all. How many votes were thrown out by Trump ally Kris Kobach via his Interstate Crosscheck election fraud scheme? Enough to throw the electoral college "win" to Trump according to investigative journalist Greg Palast (AZ, MI and NC electoral votes would have gone to HRC if not for the huge number of voters purged from the rolls in those states due to Interstate Crosscheck/Republican voter disenfranchisement).

My point is that, while Trump may have intended to lose, he had people working on his behalf to steal the election from the rightful victor, Hillary Clinton (Vladimir Putin, James Comey and the aforementioned Kris Kobach).

Images: (L) Virtual placard found at the top of the Right-wing blog Who's Your Daddy declaring the trumper delusion of the liar-in-chief's inevitability/destiny to be potus. (R) Pushback in line with blotus lie that Wolff's book is a "work of fiction".

Note: Link to HuffPo article about the Mercers (Father Robert and Daughter Rebecka) in Fire and Fury excerpt inserted by me.

Update 1/14/2018: On the other hand, Bill Clinton did predict the presidency of a DJT-type candidate back in 1991. A candidate that presented himself as a champion of the working man via an opposition to job killing free trade deals. Deals like NAFTA (signed by Clinton) and the TPP (championed by Obama).

In that respect, Trump did "win" because the time and place was right. The "time" being after the endorsement of job killing free trade deals by two successive Democratic presidents. The place being the Rust Belt of the United States (where former Democratic voters went for Trump).

Steve Bannon, btw, was convinced that Trump would win (even if Trump was not). Because Trump had the support of the racist Whites (the base of the Republican Party) PLUS the White working class negatively affected by bad trade deals signed or championed by Democratic presidents (people who traditionally voted Democratic).
