Richard Nixon & The Mob Responsible for JFK Assassination

The CIA could not face up to the American people and admit that its former employees had conspired to assassinate the President; so from the moment Kennedy's heart stopped beating, the Agency attempted to sweep the whole conspiracy under the rug ~ Jim Garrison (11/20/1921 to 10/21/1992) the District Attorney of Orleans Parish LA from 1962 to 1973. A member of the Democratic Party, he is best known for his investigations into the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. He was played by Kevin Costner in Oliver Stone's JFK.

In a prior post I put forward a theory regarding the killing of Trayvon Martin. I theorized that George Zimmerman decided (ahead of time), to murder a black youth in order to attain fame and the money that often comes with fame; George Zimmerman is really guilty of premeditated first-degree murder, in other words. I stressed that it was just a theory, but a certain Conservative blogger that is dumber than a box of rocks objected.

This blogger; an individual who uses the ID "Rusty Shackelford" believed my speculation to be a nutty conspiracy theory, akin to the second shooter on the grassy knoll JFK assassination theory. In order to ridicule me and the other two individuals who had left comments in agreement (Grung E. Gene and Jerry Critter), Rusty posted the following...

Rusty Schmuckelford: These three jewels are going to vacation together in Dallas. The will be on the grassy knoll, looking for shell casings (7/05/2013 at 5:02pm).

Nope. I would not waste my time looking for shell casings that wouldn't be there so many decades later. But, more importantly, we have no more need for conspiracy theories when it comes to the JFK assassination because the case has been solved. The authors of Legacy of Secrecy, Lamar Waldron and Thom Hartmann, did the legwork and cracked the case. The person who shot JFK from the grassy knoll was Watergate burglar Bernard Barker (who passed away on 6/5/2009). A excerpt of the summary laying out the case can be found on Thom Hartmann's website...

...convicted Watergate burglar Bernard Barker was working on one of America's most secret programmes in November 1963, the plot to overthrow Fidel Castro on December 1st 1963, ten days after Dallas. Totally authorized by JFK, Bobby Kennedy, and using the number three man in Cuba, Commander Juan Almeida. Bernard Barker was working on that as the assistant to CIA officer E. Howard Hunt. Bernard Barker was a low-level CIA agent. He was really working for the Mafia. He'd been working for, for years, the Mafia godfather Santo Trafficante.

What Bernard Barker did, was to sell out this top secret coup plan, whose exposure could have meant World War Three. He sold it out to his boss, Trafficante. And that Trafficante and his Mob associates, Carlos Marcello of Louisiana and Texas, Johnny Rosselli, the Chicago Mob's man in Las Vegas and Hollywood, let them use parts of that plan to try to kill JFK first in Chicago, then Tampa, and then finally succeed in Dallas. But do it in a way that forced poor Bobby Kennedy to work with his hated enemies, like LBJ, J. Edgar Hoover, to cover up a lot of information.

Due to the hard work of Mr. Waldron and Mr. Hartmann we know it was the mob, working with Richard Nixon that was responsible for JFK's assassination. One of the primary reasons most people don't know about this is because of the cover-up. Again, according to Lamar Waldron and Thom Hartmann...

[Information was] withheld by the CIA while Cheney is Ford's Chief of Staff, and then Cheney becomes Ford's campaign manager while George H. W. Bush becomes CIA Director, and yet again I want to stress, Ford, Cheney, Bush 1 had nothing to do with JFK's murder, but [have] everything to do with keeping us from ever learning how it happened, or why.

So, no need for me or Grung E. Gene or Jerry to travel to the grassy knoll looking for shell casings that wouldn't be there... because we know what happened thanks to Mr. Waldron and Mr. Hartmann. BTW, this information has been out there for a number of years. The interview I linked to (above) is from 2009. I heard it on air back then, so I've known about the truth behind the JFK assassination for awhile. But Rusty obviously does not... although I seriously doubt he'll believe the information that comes from a book coauthored by the Progressive talker Thom Hartmann (Rusty isn't a fan).

Anyway, seeing as Rusty was unaware that the mystery regarding who was responsible for JFK's murder being solved, I figured there would be others who also are still in the dark. Readers of this blog, perhaps. They might be interested to know who assassinated JFK, which is why I decided to turn my reply to Rusty (which was all it was going to be) into a full length commentary.

Maybe some of my readers will respond and let me know what they think about this information (as researched and presented in the book "Legacy of Secrecy")? Have they heard of it, and if so... do they agree with the conclusions reached by the authors? I look forward to some feedback. I, for one, trust Mr. Waldron and Mr. Hartmann and believe their conclusions to be absolutely factual.

Video Description: Thom Hartmann and Lamar Waldron discuss their historical tome, "Legacy of Secrecy" (a book that is currently being made into a movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio, slated for release late in 2013). Video from the 11/17/2009 broadcast of the Thom Hartmann radio talk show program (16:50)...

  1. Amazing, simply amazing DS/wd. With theories like yours you should have NO problems getting a job with one of those tabloids that theorize about crazy stuff all the time.

First degree murder for fame and wealth. Oy Vey...

    1. This from a guy who spews (wrote and posted on his blog) the antisemitic theory that "The Jews went willingly to the gas chambers."
      Thanks for your useless input.

JUST POST AS DICKHEAD. WHY BE ANONYMOUS? THEN WE WILL RECOGNIZE YOU THE NEXT TIME YOU SAY SOMETHING.

IF RN ACTUALLY SAID THIS, PROVIDE A LINK OR PROVE THAT HE SCRUBBED HIS BLOG. IF THIS HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE STRAW MAN ABOUT JEWS WILLINGLY GIVING UP THEIR WEAPONS...

THAT NEVER HAPPENED. NORMAL PEOPLE DON'T OWN WEAPONS. I PERSONALLY DO NOT EVER INTEND TO THREATEN OR KILL ANYONE.

  2. It would not surprise me in the least if Hartmann's investigation is more truthful than the Warren Commission. We may never know the whole truth.

  3. George Zimmerman has fame and Right-wing idiots have already sent him quite a bit of money. Remember when he had his bail revoked because he lied about 135K supporters sent him? A commenter on Lisa's website said he's going to be a "rich man" after he is acquitted. Anyway, RN assesses my theory based on the one sentence summary I included in this post. I did an ENTIRE post where I lay out the reasoning in much greater detail. Although if RN read that I'm sure he would not change his mind.

Jerry, the conclusions reached by Waldron and Hartmann are based on years of research. If I remember correctly, I believe Thom said 14 years. The book they authored is a massive 944 pages. Admittedly I haven't read it, nor have I seen the Discovery Channel documentary based on the book... but I have listened to Thom and Lamar lay out the case in great on Thom's radio program (see the youtube clip I included at the bottom of this post). I definitely plan on seeing the Leonardo DiCaprio film after it comes out.

An interesting fact (if you didn't know it)... This will be the second time Leonardo DiCaprio has made a film out of a book by Thom Hartmann. The first was a documentary film titled The 11th Hour, which was based on/inspired by Thom's book The Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight (a book about Global Climate Change). Thom Hartmann also appears in The 11th Hour.

Here is a link to the transcript of a 2007 discussion between Thom and Leo regarding the documentary.

  4. I listend to Thom Hartmann all,the time while I worked. He was often spot on. Now that I am retired I do not listen nearly as often.

  5. Correction: "I have listened to Thom and Lamar lay out the case in great DETAIL on Thom's radio program". That is what I meant to type. I have no idea how that word got omitted. That's one thing I hate about blogging. At least with posting (unlike commenting) I can go back and fix things. Not that it matters after people have already read my post. They aren't going to go back and read it again. I edited my last post several times (to fix minor errors) after several people had already commented. Truth be told, I've edited posts I've found errors in that were published YEARS ago. So feel free to point out any typos Jerry, because I'm really OCD about fixing them, and any help I could get would be appreciated. Some errors always seem to slip through.

    1. Multiply simple human errors by thousands, of the different people evolved in the original investigation and the thousands of people who have researched the issue over the years. If you can make one, two errors in one post, imagine how many errors are possible in all that mass of humanity. Eye witness accounts being most susceptible to error.

  6. I once watched a 45 minute documentary on how George Bush Sr. killed Kennedy through his CIA connections, with certain(?) evidence.
The first theory presented by the Warren Reports own investigative lawyer. The "single" or "magic" bullet theory, which became part of the Warren Reports "explanation" of what happened. A most ridiculous explanation, which started all this conspiracy theory stuff.
I have no doubt Oswald shot JFK. Did another person/entity have input, or pay/order him to do it?
Many sound evaluations have been done including actual audio recordings from the moment. The only thing in common all those investigations show, is the "grassy knoll" has echo qualities; and witnesses on site would have heard those echos of the shots.
There is plenty of historical evidence, that one nut is usually responsible for such an act.
There is plenty of evidence to question the Warren Reports final report.
